Back at the Helm

I’m not sure what’s wrong with me. Obsession, compulsion - call it whatever you like. But last week, at the close of the 2026 Mariner Nationals, I became President of the Mariner Class Association for the fifth time. I first served two terms back-to-back from 2010-2014, and then another two terms from 2020-2024. I decided to step once more into the breach not only to fill a need but to accomplish some things I think might be pretty neat.

There are 325 active members of the Association, and if you have a Mariner or are interested in them, for heaven’s sake, join the group! It’s only $15 a year, and the amount of information available on the website for members is truly staggering. It will be the best $15 you will ever spend on your boat - I promise you. A lot of exciting things will be coming up in the not-too-distant future. I'm happy to be at the helm of this fantastic Association once again.
