ORION Accepted to Worldwide Classic Boat Show

I just received the exciting news that ORION will be one of the featured boats in the 2026 Worldwide Classic Boat Show! Organized by the co-founders of Off Center Harbor, including such legends as historian Maynard Bray and photographer Benjamin Mendlowitz, WCBS is an entirely virtual boat show where, according to their website, they “bring you inside the world of classic boats, and then bring this entire world of beautiful boats closer together.  And it worked.”

WCBS showcases over 1,000 of the world’s best classic boats with photo and details and features an interactive Google map. There are even live presentations scheduled, and this year’s presenters include Lin Pardey and boatbuilders Ross Gannon and Nat Benjamin.

The entire Show is online at ClassicBoatShow.com. That means there is no physical show, so you can “attend” from anywhere in the world without leaving your favorite chair! How about that? Like any boat show, however, there is an admission price, but it is only $19, and it not only includes full access to the Show but also a 6-month Off Center Harbor membership. As an OCH member, I can tell you it is well worth the price, and chances are you will want to become a full OCH member after watching some of their videos. (Disclaimer: I have admittedly been late to a meeting because I just couldn’t help myself from finishing one of their outstanding videos. It’s that good.)

Live events for this year’s show will run February 20-22, 2026. Off Center Harbor members have continued access all year, while non-members with tickets enjoy access through March 8, 2026.

ORION will join two other O’Day Mariners accepted in prior years: John Swansey’s BLACKHAWK and Dave Satter’s WILDFLOWER. She will be in good company.

I hope you’ll check it out once it becomes available!
