ORION’s old trailer has sold and is now on its way to Rhode Island! I recently purchased a new EZ Loader trailer as I hope to do some long-distance excursions in the years ahead. Her old trailer had some rust spots that made me a little nervous for towing hundreds of miles at a time, but I had absolutely no qualms about trailering ORION to and from the launch ramp (40 miles each way). Since I obviously have no need for two trailers, I'm thrilled that Bob from Wakefield, Rhode Island contacted me looking for a light-duty trailer to replace his rusted one.
Bob and his "new" trailer!
We certainly have had some adventures together!
Bob showed up this afternoon to my house here in Connecticut, and within short order, he was on his way back to Rhode Island with the trailer. It served ORION well for many years; for all I know, the trailer is original to the boat. I’m very pleased to know it will continue serving another Mariner.
On its way to its new home in Rhode Island!
