This past weekend, 19 Mariners and 62 people took part in the 2026 Mariner National Rendezvous sailing from Niantic to Mystic Seaport, Connecticut. It was a tremendous success with great winds and weather, and everybody had a wonderful time. While this ties the record for Rendezvous participation with boats, it sets a new record for the number of people, making this the biggest Rendezvous since I started organizing them in 2009.
